August 'Chefs Who Care' at Michaels at Shoreline

Michaels at Shoreline will serve an Italian country barbecue buffet for the August "Chefs Who Care" dinner to benefit the Community Kitchen of Community Services Agency. The buffet dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at 2960 N. Shoreline Blvd. in Mountain View.

The menu will include a cold buffet consisting of Caesar salad, antipasto salad, tomatoes vinaigrette and pasta primavera salad, and a hot buffet featuring barbecued rosemary chicken and penne pasta marinara. The meal will conclude with sorbet and coffee service.

The price of the dinner is $16 for adults and $10 for children. Michaels will donate $8 of the adult price to the Community Kitchen, which serves hot meals at no charge four nights a week to homeless and low-income individuals and families.

Reservations are required. They may be made by calling 941-8649 by Saturday. There will be family seating for groups of fewer than eight.
