Los Altos Anniversary Follies to focus on fun

Mark your calendars for Oct. 4 when the Anniversary Follies pokes fun at our foibles. This year's performance celebrates the 40th anniversary of Foothill College, the 50th anniversary of the Town Crier and the third open season of the Bus Barn Theater.

Vickie Reeder is the volunteer director. The event will be a fund raiser for the theater.

With the help of planning commissioner Chet Frankenfield, Reeder is also writing the script and lyrics.

"It will be a satirical look on the life of Los Altos past and present," Reeder said. "It has more of a historical flavor, and we'll look at what's stayed the same over our history."

Volunteers are needed for behind the scenes production and in organizing the reception that will accompany the event.
