Church exhibit for artist/poet

Artist/writer Louise Freund will be exhibiting her paintings and poems in the lobby of the Palo Alto Unitarian Church through Aug. 18. For more information, call the church office or 967-3045.

New theme at Gallery 9

The theme of Gallery 9's summer show is "At the Beach." All artists will try to adhere to the theme, if not literally, then in spirit. The show will run through Aug. 23.

Collector book now available

A limited edition book with original art by Bonnie Stone and Frederica Postman called "The True Collector" is now available at the Printer's Shop 4546 El Camino Real, B10, No. 207, Los Altos.

"The True Collector" includes treasures of a moveable doll, a pop-up, a hand colored print, an original collage, an original trading card, an actual bookplate, a cigar band, postage stamps and an original game for collectors.

Only 74 signed and numbered copies are for sale. Cost is $325. For more information, call 941-0433.

Sunbird Gallery displaying new art

Sunbird Gallery received a new shipment of original oil paintings by some of America's best landscape, figurative, and still-life artists. Their art is presently on display at Sunbird Gallery.

Featured are Michael Albrechtson, Ovanes Berberian, Bruce Boatner, Shari Brush, Kang Cho, Guido Frick, Dan McCaw, Robert Moore and Victoria Reece.

Sunbird Gallery is located at 333 First St. in Los Altos. The studio is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, or by appointment.

'Captured moments' at Viewpoints Gallery

Viewpoints Gallery is exhibiting fine art work in watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel and oriental brush paintings and other mediums through Sunday. The theme is called "Captured Moments"

Viewpoints Art Gallery is located at 315 State St. in Los Altos.

The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call 941-5789.
