Socialize, study, or simply snack at the new Friends' Cafe in the lobby of the Los Altos Library. The new eatery offers food and drinks in a sociable atmosphere. You can eat in cool comfort at one of eight small tables in the lobby or outside in the sun by the fountain.

Cafe hours are 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 7 to 9 p.m. Monday; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Food and drink available include: hot and iced-coffee and tea, hot chocolate, assorted fruit juices, bottled water, bagels, muffins, breads, pastries, biscotti and fruit.

Proceeds from the Friends' Cafe are donated to the Los Altos and Woodland Libraries.
