The Fremont Union High School District (FUHSD) and the Fremont Educators Association (FEA), which represent the teachers, continue negotiations on a possible contract. Since May 1996 the two have been trying to agree upon a contract. Negotiations have moved to the mediation process. Oct. 7 was the latest meeting. A California state mediator has been called in to help reach a conclusion.
